Born from research – developed for practical application
As part of the project BauWaOpKliNu (“Modular system for water‑optimised, climate‑resilient and multifunctional land use”), TNL worked closely with Coburg University of Applied Sciences to develop new approaches for improving water retention in the landscape.
The aim was to explore practice‑oriented methods and to develop a solution that enables local planning processes to become simple, data‑driven and efficient.
The project has shown that many municipalities are willing to take action, but often lack accessible tools that make complex hydrological relationships understandable and provide clear, actionable options. This is precisely where our work begins.
